Dear fellow members

Firstly, thank you to all those who took the time and trouble to respond to my earlier email and request for ideas, volunteers and raffle prizes. Those who are still pondering or polishing their responses – I look forward to hearing from you. Don’t be shy!

As we step, blinking, in to the sunlight of ‘normal’ life resuming in full I wanted to invite, encourage and cajole you all to join us for some of the events we have lined up. These may be subject to booking availability, but I have listed some below:

Quiz evening on Friday 25th June. 7:30 for 8:00pm start. Teams of four, £1.50 per head entry, cash and raffle prizes. We will make this a monthly event so if you start off slowly there will be plenty of chances for revenge!

Race Nights in early September and mid November – looking for race sponsors, horse owners and feckless punters!

A Cocktails and Fun Casino evening in September

A possible fire-walking event in late October, possibly with the added attraction of Night Golf

A Hallowe’en Murder Mystery Dinner

We are also trying to arrange some bands/entertainers and looking at the possibility of a May Ball in 2022.

Keep an eye out for posters, flyers and a tap on the shoulder from me or other committee members but above all – please come along, join in, have fun and support your club.
